One of the last solid Embryo albums before they went off the rails on a Middle Eastern musical caravan. Perhaps only marred by unfortunate cover artwork. Has 3 bonus tracks.

Oddly the Release Music Orchestra catalogue has never been reissued on CD. One of the few remaining from the Brain catalogue that seems to be ignored. They started out as an extension of Tomorrow's Gift. Their initial album was one part jazz rock/one part kraut rock.

In the 70s there were lots of clones of Yes, King Crimson, ELP, and others. But Gentle Giant? Can't think of too many. There was Etcetera from Quebec who were very good but perhaps the best of them all was Epidermis and their 1977 album "Genius Of Original Force".

"Here's a great release of excellent sounding live recordings, made during the 1977 edition of the 'Umsonst Und Draußen' festival in Vlotho.

"Eiliff was another of those barely known Krautrock bands that turned fusion on its head with a highly original mix of jazz and rock. They only released a pair of albums during their existence in the early '70s, which are now difficult to find even on CD.

Classic German fusion band in a previously unreleased live radio session. Killer!

Previously unreleased live show from November 4, 1972. This is the post Uli Trepte lineup with his replacement Bruno Schaab on bass. The band jams out three mega-long versions of "Oxymoron", "Baby Cake Walk" and "Ooga Booga".

"Guru Guru played in the Wartburg, a Wiesbaden hall, on September 17th, 1973. It was one of the gigs recorded by Xhol (Caravan) acquaintance Muck Krieger.

Vital live session from the original lineup. Essential psychedelic hardness.

Second album by the krautrock band led by guitarist Conny Veit. Essentially this album bears little resemblance to the debut. With a new lineup consisting of mostly Popol Vuh members, the music shows a strong affinity for that laid back mystical folky sound. A great one.

This is an odd one. It was released on CD by Kissing Spell many years ago with the band name Irmin's Way. I guess the real name of the band is Tin Pan Alley and its seeing new life from the Garden Of Delights label.

"Poseidon unfortunatly only lived a short life but managed to record one brilliant album before falling out. "Found My Way" is not typical underground 70's Krautrock and actaully has more English prog feel about it.

Smoking fusion served up with a nice touch of weirdness in places - kind of like Return To Forever meets Zappa. Wicked keyboard work that will blow you away. This is hot poop! Highly recommended.

"This was MISSUS BEASTLY's third studio album released in 1976. If you'll notice on the cover art they have the album's title as such as to look like it's the band's name, and the title of the album looks like it would be "For Missus Beastly".

One of the essential early German prog albums. If you are fan of Agitation Free, Popol Vuh, and Between you must own this.

We were first to release this magnificent album on CD but GoD subsequently reissued it (I presume from the master tapes). This new vinyl pressing from GoD includes a 40 page insert. That's a lot of info!

"Epidermis were founded in Idstein, Germany, in 1971. They played some complex and sophisticated rock music, often compared with Gentle Giant, Yes and the Canterbury scene. 'June 1975' has not been released on any physical format back then, and has been made available for the first time.

"'Father, Son And Holy Ghosts' was the third LP by Embryo. The title was not meant to be Christian-religious - they didn't want to stoop to that level. The outstanding Siegfried Schwab shines on guitar, veena and tarang and brings in Indian sounds.

"Don't be deceived by the Roger Dean-like cover art on this one. German band EILIFF was like no other contemporary band playing progressive music in the early seventies. These recordings were taken from a Cologne radio show called "Nachtmusik" which was aired on Nov. 10, 1972.

"This album would be very representative of the type of oddball music still pervasive in 1971, a time away from even wilder musical trips to come , a rawer , more psychedelic Woodstock era sound (lots of groove , baby) that would be played in countless underground European clubs (some not even s

"Live from Gevelsberg (Sauerland) played art-rock with flute; without the nerve-wracking breaks often heard in this genre, but rather harmonious. In 1974, they released a 7" single and recorded an LP which, however, didn’t come out at that time.

Back in the days when I was a young pup I used to get mail order lists of used and rare albums from dealers in Germany. There was one album that was soooo expensive that I couldn't fathom anyone ever buying it. Funny thing is it always sold. That album was Ainigma.

Archival live release. This was recorded a few weeks before the band changed their name to Xhol Caravan (and later just Xhol). Its electric jazz rock which finds the band doing their interpretations of RnB and jazz standards - but done up their way.
