1973's End For The Beginning is a bit of a change for Kikuchi. It features a quintet lineup of Kikuchi on piano, two reed players, bass and drums. Its unplugged and very spacious and spiritual - almost like he was auditioning for ECM.
Another 1970 release from Masabumi Kikuchi (he ran wild that year). This one is a live recording featuring the sextet. The album consists of two tracks - extended versions of "Dancing Mist" and "Yellow Carcass In Blue". Both tracks are drawn from the Poo-Sun album.
